Does the display need a separate media player?

No. The display includes a built-in media player for USB flash drive plug-and-play. It also has an HDMI input when you want to use an external player or computer.

Which files work with USB autoplay?

For the most reliable autoplay:

  • Use PNG, JPEG or JPG images and MP4 video.
  • Prepare vertical content in a 9:16 aspect ratio.
  • Keep individual images under 5 MB where possible.
  • PowerPoint and PDF files do not autoplay directly.
My USB is connected, but the content is not playing. What should I check?
  1. Open File Manager and confirm that the USB drive is detected.
  2. Open the Autoplay app and check the selected playback mode.
  3. If Copy Mode is selected, create a folder named AutoPlayFile in the USB drive root and place the media inside it.
  4. Try a different supported file or USB drive to isolate the cause.

Do not open the cabinet or move internal cables while the display is connected to power. Contact MWE support before internal inspection.

How do I hide file names during playback?

Launch the media through the Autoplay app instead of File Manager. File Manager displays file names; Autoplay is designed for clean full-screen playback and looping.

Why is the scheduled timer not turning the display on or off?

Check that the display is connected to a network and that the system date, time and time zone match your location. An incorrect system clock prevents the timer from running at the expected time.

Can I update several displays remotely?

Yes. MWE can provide a CMS account for remote publishing, scheduling and multi-program playback. The correct installation package depends on the device motherboard and system information.

Go to Settings → System → About → Device name, take a clear photo of the full page, and send it to MWE support. The team will provide the matching package and setup guidance.

How can I show PDF or PowerPoint content?

These files do not autoplay directly. You can either install a compatible viewer from the device app store, or export the slides/pages as 9:16 images and publish them through Autoplay or the MWE CMS.

Can touch input control a Windows computer?

Yes, on supported touch models. Connect the computer’s HDMI output to the display’s HDMI input, then connect the display’s USB touch cable to the computer. Video travels over HDMI and touch input travels over USB.

Ask MWE support to confirm the correct touch cable and connection points for your model before changing internal connections.

How do I stop visitors from opening the navigation bar?

Open Settings → Device preferences → Display and enable Disable Navigation Bar. Use the remote control or a mouse to return to settings and disable the option when you need navigation again.

The screen is black. What information should I send to support?

Record one continuous video from power-on, showing the rear power switch, the front indicator light and any response on the screen. Include your order number and a photo of the product/package labels. This gives the technical team the fastest path to the correct next step.

The touch screen is not responding. What can I try safely?
  1. Remove the protective film and corner protectors.
  2. Make sure the bottom edge of the screen and tempered glass are unobstructed.
  3. Restart the display and test several points on a plain white screen.
  4. Record a short video showing where you touch and where the screen responds.

Send the video, order number and product labels to support. Cable reconnection or calibration should only be performed with model-specific guidance.

Which installation video should I follow?

Use the single-screen installation tutorial ↗ for one unit. For two or more units, follow the multi-screen installation and usage tutorial ↗, including the alignment and playback steps.

There is a visible gap between two screens. How do I align them?
  1. Stand both units upright and secure the rear fasteners between the upper and lower panels.
  2. Use the wheels/leveling points to bring the screens to the same height.
  3. Looking from the front, align the screen edges before locking the center connection from top to bottom.
  4. Confirm the left and right support brackets are installed on their correct sides.

Do not force the panels together; repeat the alignment steps in the multi-screen video.

Half of the LED screen is not lit. What should I do?

Turn the display off and disconnect it from power. Record the unlit area and photograph the rear product label. A loose signal cable or module connection may be involved, but the correct panel must be identified before it is opened.

Contact MWE technical support for the model-specific inspection video before removing screws or reconnecting internal cables.

The screens will not synchronize. What should I check?
  1. Confirm the HDMI connections match the multi-screen tutorial.
  2. Connect LEDArt to each screen separately.
  3. Check that the playback mode on every unit is set to Auto.
  4. Restart the units after saving the same playback configuration.
A horizontal line remains across the screen. Can it be repaired?

A persistent line can indicate a damaged LED unit board. Photograph the full screen and the affected module, then contact support to confirm the replacement board and tutorial for your production batch. Align the left and right edges of the replacement module from the front before fastening it.

How do I restore factory parameters after changing settings?

Factory parameter files are production-batch specific. Do not import a file from another unit. Send support a clear photo of the unit board and product label; the technical team will identify the batch and provide the correct parameter file and import steps.

The LED display will not power on. What is the safest next step?

Confirm the wall outlet, external power cable and main switch first. If the unit remains off, disconnect it from power and send support a video of the startup attempt plus photos of the power cable, base and product label.

A loose connector inside the base may require inspection. Do not open the base while connected to power; follow MWE’s model-specific service instructions.

Need a technician?

Send the right details. Get the right fix.

Include your order number, product label, device/system page and a short video of the issue. MWE support can then match the correct firmware, parameter file or repair guide to your unit.

Safety note: Disconnect equipment from power before inspection. Internal wiring, boards, firmware and factory parameters should only be changed with instructions matched to your exact MWE model and production batch.
